after some exersice of walking around the huge IKEA, head toward the cafe!

gosh... wanna try some sweedish cullinary delights? hehehe... head for IKEA cafe!? well... i kinda like the meatballs. its CHEAP! the 10pc meatballs are only RM9 a plate... huge portions! i always have trouble of cleaning up the plate. served with boiled skinned potatos. which apparently though, i do hate!!!

u can always opt for the fries. ask them for the fries instead of the boiled potatoes (tasteless!). i like the gravy, and the cranberry sauce.... the combo taste kinda funny at first... u really need the tangy cranberry sauce to kill off the dull flavour of the gravy. yes the gravy is tasty, but after a while it just too flat tasting. the cranberry sauce will spark up the sauce.

be warned the portion is quiet big... 10 pieces of meatballs. RM9 approx.

i like to get that with the cappucino which is include free refill. nice thick foam and strong coffee... and free refills?! fantastic i'd say! stopped me from going to another starbucks ever! all for only RM3. and if u get the combo, which what i normally do... cappucino + muffin = RM3.80 <--- this is a steal! in starbucks the muffin alone cost more than that!

btw, have u notice the relation of the name starbuck and their price of their beverages? u need money(or bucks) as much stars are in the sky to afford their drinks. coffee is coffee. its not made of gold! ohh come one... for a glass i should pay nearly rm10 buck?! i won't be butchered by the yanks... no thank you!

we hv the right to decide how we spend our money right? don't fall into the trap of hype. decide wisely the value of your money. if we keep on spending on over-priced items, such as coffee, it will eventually hurt us in the end. decide the value of everything yourself. to me for a cup of coffee RM10 is way over-kill! cut my head off and put it on a stake will ya?

so my dinner cost;

1. 10pcs sweedish meatballs + fries = RM9
2. cappucino + chocolate muffin = RM3.80

total = RM12.80

btw if u would prefer fizzy drinks, its just RM1.50 and yess... again free refills!

as a whole.... this place do no burn a hole through ur pocket. and i am one happy customer! :-)

hmm... after almost 2 months of non-blogging, i'm back. infinite things to blame for not blogging, but excuses, excuses. no more. ok? i've just bought a new HP iPAQ and having so much fun with it. got the tiny camera and WiFi for the iPAQ too! having trouble with the WiFi card will only get the replacement unit next week.

as for food review, hmmm.... havent been too adventurous lately. a budget cut, need more fund to pay for my own place. btw i've just bought a flat in setiawangsa.... it will be ready sept/nov 2006. thats another 2 years!

so need to save money for furnishings, cabinets, kitchen appliances, and every other thing to complete the flat. well, i am glad i've bought my own place. for now i just need to calm down and start saving!

i am going to Genting Highlands this weekend, i bought the RM88 promo package, one night in Theme Park Hotel Genting plus 2 tickets for the Fantastica. i've always wanted to watch the show... this is my chance! i will put up a review of the show later. well a break out of KL is always great!

i have plans to go to Langkawi in May, Kuching in July, Phuket in October. After that, i wanna visit Jakarta/Bandung around year end. My travel plans seems packed for the year eh? hmmm there goes all my money...!!!

i have some pic from my weekend adventure in Zoo Negara. it was a pleasent experience. i think the last time i went there was during primary school, a school trip i think!!! thats like 20 years ago!!! ouch... i am OLD!
