Going off for a short trip?

yupe... its time for a holiday. tomorrow morning (wednesday), i am going off to kuantan for a 2 nights stay there tomorrow and after that to kijal for one night. planning to spend most of my time on the beach and watch the wide open sea, smell the salt in the air, listen to the sounds of waves crashing,... i've always loved sea... Gonna start the trip very early tomorrow, around 6 or 7am and hv breakfast on the road somewhere...

when i was 5, my family stay in port dickson and our house is like 20 meters from the beach. its practically by the beach. my mum loves to do picnics... with a huge buffet-like spread she prepared. absolutely love that. thinking of it i think i wanna plan a family holiday by the beach on some island other than langkawi.
will put up some photos from this trip...

btw... i am leaving this notebook on to download all available episodes of 'The Desperate Housewives' from kazaa. hehehee..... one episode is like 300MB and i think there are 13 available episodes i think... i hope by the time i'm back (sunday) i would have downloaded them all... to whom ever loves Sex And The City and Six Feet Under, this is a new series that u have to watch because its a cross of those two series! Fantastic...

another series to look for is JOEY, which is a spin-off of the series Friends. i've only manage to download 2 episodes of Joey for now but hey... i can still download it later... thanks to the 1MB streamyx ADSL internet connection!

Still not asleep?

yeah... its 4.09am. i am still wide awake. no, i'm not chatting or viewing any of the plenty VC shows in yahoo. nope! i am actually scouting for a bath tub. from the detailed plan of my yet-to-be-completed flat, the width of the master bathroom is 1650mm. so after some rough calculation i think i can fit in a 60" long bath tub. i was pretty worried that the master bath is too small to accomodate a tub, but i think i can find one that will fit in nicely... the one below is 60" long and it by Americh. its ok looking... i guess.

i also love those rain-showers. will definitely get that! u can find them in newer hotels nowdays ie the new kl hilton has them in every bathroom. fantastic stuff!
this one here is by grohe, a very posh brand i think... very nice!

now as for the water faucet for the tub, i really love those broad waterfall like faucets. such as the following.... i would feel that the waterfall flow of water into the tub has a very calming effect... wouldn't you agree? same goes with the rain-shower head.

that is just for the tub + shower of the master bathroom! hehehe.... i need to get some sleep!

TGI Friday's for dinner?

yeah... just had dinner there. I went to the one in One Utama. So here is the story, I used to love TGIF... until they served rice in their fajatas. i just think that is just cheating everyone. instead a full beef or chicken fillings they mixed it with rice. so i stoppped going to TGIF until just now.

as usual, i would only come here to have 3 things....
1. beef fajitas
2. the burger
3. mud pie

hmm... now the verdict.

the fajitas, i read the menu thoroughly to make sure that there are no more of those rice with the beef. i had mine cooked medium-well done. to me it is wrong to had beef well done, esp if its very well done, it will be dry, course, hard, tasteless.
the fajitas now do not comes with rice anymore. but, the beef is cooked in a very runny, tasteless sauce.
i got 4 pieces of tortilla bread with the set. which is more than suffice. the dish come with enuf sour cream and guacamole but it came with very very little amount of cheese... not enuf cheese!
as a whole... the fajitas used to be better... its very very bad now.

the burger (medium), it was so very tiny... i was shocked at the size! it as thick as how i remembered it, but the size has shrinked considerably. its almost as small as the ramly burger stall in the night market. so i'm not too happy with the burger. the chips is not too bad though... typical american chips aka fries, shoe-string cut and fried till crisp. the seasoning is great i think...

since i has been quite a disappointing dinner out in TGIF, i am left with the only one think that i knew TGIF is known for... the Mississippi Chocolate Mud Pie, but here the called it as the Chocolate Mud Pie. Oh... yesss... it was such a relief to finally get something good, something original and still taste as good as how TGIF used to be....

so hey now the final verdict... if you want a great fajitas or burgers go to Chilli's but you never the chocolate mud pie! nyummy.... i will definitely be back for the mud pie....

btw, i think i should hv snap some pics with my phone... i totally forgotten all about it. more pics next time... :-)

Redesign the layout?

i am gonna make better use of the phlogger. since i can now post new entries via MMS. i can start take a few snaps and post it here with only my mobile phone. the best thing is that its all FREE.

btw, it has been ages since my last entry. i will post more pics via the MMS. but i have to change the old phone number registered to phlogger to my new number. so i will write entries here... using blogger.
