Grohe Grohtherm 1000?
my apt will have 2 bathrooms so i am buying everything for both bathrooms. everything will be in pairs. first the shower mixer. i wanted a thermostate controlled shower mixer. the intelligent type... this shower mixer can be set to mix the cold and hot water to you desired temperature in Celcius and it will automatic cut off all water if the water temp exceed 38C or the cold water supply suddenly stops.
the temp adjustments is done on the right handle (the red button will override the max 38C if you want it scorching hot!)
the left handle is use to set the water flow rate
if you press the button on the right handle it will automatically turn down the flow rate to 50% of you current rate. they call this the eco-button.
i have called up Grohe's main distributor for Malaysia. They told me the RRP of this unit is more than rm2000 per piece and their best price is rm1400 (after 30% off). i thought this is way too expensive so i went online and found out its much much cheaper in Germany. So i manage to bought 2 pieces from Ebay in Germany and paid via Paypal so my purchase is insured. i paid rm1000 for both! which is actually rm500 a piece! hehehe.... i am very very happy....
