An elastic Waja?
Want to know what happens when a normal sedan is stretched like pulling a rubberband..? Hmm.. no rocket science here, you'll get a Proton Chancellor!
No idea of anyone in the right mind would actually buy this elongated Proton Waja. Especially when its RM136,000 each! That's approximately the price of 2 Waja!
In the technical spec sheet,
Powertrain = Perdana V6 2.o engine (an old Mitsubishi engine)
Peformance = same as Perdana V6 with higher fuel consumption!
Chassis = same as Waja
Dimension = a stretched Waja, hence longer & heavier
Finishing = leather here, wood there...
Seat & Trim = adjustable height etc, etc.
Convenient Function = same as Waja, same fauty power windows, faulty central lock...
In-car Entertainment = a DVD player, a CD player featuring a 'bee-sting' antenna!
Even the antenna is mentioned in the technical spec! Did they mentioned anything on SAFETY? Nope, none, nada...! How many airbags it has? Dual plus side airbags? In my dreams! Dual airbags? Nah.. One airbag? Not even one!!! ABS? Ask that to the proton engineers.. see if they could explain to you what it is.. let us not go to traction control and brake assist! They wouldn't have a clue!
Perodua Myvi (RM51,300) has dual airbags and ABS!!! So what to expect when buying a RM136,000 limited edition Proton Chancellor? You will get a super comfy (leather and wood trims), super roomy coffin of death!
When will Proton learn...? Sigh... never...
of all names..why chancellor??
with RM130k++, i prefer something like sentra or vios..way cheaper than chancellor..

1+1 is not always equal to 2. This is what happening with Proton Chancellor; 1 Waja + 1 Waja does not equal 2 Waja. More like 1.5 Waja = 1 Chancellor. So where did the 0.5 go?
