Anugerah Juara Lagu ke-20?
I bet last Sunday night the whole of Malaysia was on a stand-still. Everyone is glued in front of their telly for AGL-20. Even the express busses would stop at restaurants just to catch the whole commotion.To me AGL-20 was shocking in 2 ways :
1. Hazami vs. Jac for best vocal?
wonder who can hit the higher note?!Never crossed my mind that the jury would award this one to Hazami! I didn't say that he is not good nor not deserving, I just thought that the jury would award this one to Jac because her very consistent vocal performance. I have never heard she singing poorly... ever! But, Hazami can squeeze his balls together to produce crystal-shattering-deaf-inducing high notes right??? And that by itself is a sight to behold, he is truely phenomenal!!
2. Ning wore (presumably) her mum's old raggedy 'baju kurung' and a cheepo-thoroughly used-tattered 'tikar mengkuang' as prop? Whatsup with that?
I hope she felt happy that she got the point accoss... if there is any point to her style that night, errr.. is there any?!? The tag-line for AGL-20 was 'Evolusi Muzik Berterusan'. Based on that same tag-line, I think Ning should won a special Evolution award. She was once the notti gurl, our very own thigh-bearing-cleavage palooza-kinky-party gurl! Today she is a re-born 'virgin'!!! Now that's what I called a real Evolution! Simply amazing! She should won an award for just that.
the before and after pictures...A friend once told me that if someone abstain from having sex for a long long long time, she will eventually 're-virginise' herself!!! Albeit an interesting idea, never actually thought that anyone could do it?!! Perhaps (do note, 'perhaps' is THE operative word here folks!), Ning did just that... hence became a success story! Wow! Hehehe...
